Advani, Shri Lal K.: Law Graduate; son of Shri Kishichand D. Advani; born at Karachi (now in Pakistan), Nov. 8, 1927; educated at(i) St. Patrick's High School, Karachi, (ii) D.G. National College, Hyderabad (Sind) and (iii) Government Law College, Bombay; married Shrimati Kamla Advani, Feb. 25, 1965; 1 son and 1 daughter.
Joined Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh in 1942 and organised its work in Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota, Bundi and Jhalawar District (Rajasthan) from1947 to 1951; Secretary, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (Karachi Branch), 1947.
Journalist by profession.
Detained under MISA in Bangalore Central Prison from June, 1975 to January 18 1977.
